For many, however, only a shorter time is possible, necessitating a PERSONAL PILGRIMAGE as part of an overseas trip to Europe. PILGRIMAGES – PERSONAL
Access to Medjugorje can be via Dubrovnik (above) or Split (below) in Croatia. Both are beautiful cities and well worth a visit. There are ferries from Italy to Split. There are flights to Dubrovnik and Split from Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. There are some direct international flights from Munich, Frankfurt and Vienna. Other access to Medjugorje is from Sarajevo or Zagreb.
